The Center Publishes Blog on the Medicaid Program and Serves as Community Partner at City Club Event
The Center for Health Affairs is proud to serve as a community partner for The City Club of Cleveland's upcoming event, "Medicaid and Health Reform - Past, Present, And Uncertain Future."
During the event, Benjamin D. Sommers, M.D., Ph.D., Assistant Professor of Health Policy and Economics at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, will discuss the ACA’s effects to date and its uncertain future.
Leading up to the event, The Center for Health Affairs' vice president of corporate communications, Deanna Moore, published a blog on the topic. Moore's blog, "Five Things We Do Know About the Future of the Medicaid Program," discusses how the Medicaid program will be affected under the Trump administration.
"Given our political makeup, it seems we’re poised to make major changes to how we provide care to those who live in poverty and the near poor," said Deanna Moore. "As policymakers begin debating the specifics of these changes, it will be important to remember that much more is at stake than a budget."
