GCHA Biannual Board Update Released

Dec 2015 GCHA ScorecardAt its latest board meeting, trustees of the Greater Cleveland Healthcare Association (GCHA), the board that oversees the nonprofit programs of The Center for Health Affairs, received the GCHA Biannual Board Update, a scorecard for the organization covering the period from July – December 2015. This one-page piece provides a snapshot of the recent activities and programs that fall under GCHA’s purview and that are a part of The Center’s 3-year strategic direction.

The update includes both qualitative and quantitative metrics and covers six program areas: emergency preparedness, prep2practice™, ACEMAPP, NEONI, Behavioral Health and the PERQS Center. Highlights from the GCHA Biannual Board Update include:

  • 46 Drills
  • 45 Emergency preparedness trainings

prep2practice

  • 428 Students completing experiences in 2014-2015 academic year
  • 58 Schools participating in 2014-2015 academic year

ACEMAPP Clinical Placement

  • 4,144 Active Students in Passport for 2015
  • $99,825 Fees received for ACEMAPP in 2015
  • $98,087 Fees received for Passport in 2015

NEONI

  • 2 Nursing Forecaster consulting projects
  • $21,080 Nursing Forecaster consulting revenue

Behavioral Health

  • 34 Member hospitals participating

PERQS Center

  • 11 NEONI academic partners participating in professionalism study
  • 8 NEONI hospitals participating in OAC’s seamless progression from AD to BSN Initiative

“The scorecard is pretty new – this is only the second one we’ve done – but we’ve heard good feedback from the board,” explained Lisa Anderson, senior vice president of member services. “This is just one way we stay accountable and transparent, which is becoming more and more important for all nonprofits.”
